What is Proxy:
Its the process of hiding your original identity or IP address. Using proxy/VPN, you will receive a different IP address which hides your actual IP. Its hard to tell where actually you are from if you are using Proxy or VPN.
Possibilities of VPN/PROXY
It hides your original identity
it helps to browse the internet anonymously
It helps you to send email anonymously
It helps you to think someone else that you are from different country
Example:

your IP (197.200.72.21 )————–>Microworker (This IP is from Algeria)
Here any server can identifies that you are from Algeria, because your IP is from Algeria.
Now use Proxy:
You —————————————-> Proxy—————————->Microworkers
Your IP (197.200.72.21 )——->86.30.166.222 (UK proxy)———–>Microworker (This IP is from UK)
Microworkers thinks that you are from UK although you are browsing from Algeria, Because your actual IP will be masked by the new proxy IP.
